Well, I’m in Seattle again for business and weather’s great (again). I’m convinced the whole “rainy Seattle” thing is a conspiracy that the locals dreamt up to make people be visitors instead of migrants. Same thing we do in Austin where we make people think it’s hot all the time. That way when you come visit, and the weather’s nice, we go “hey, lucky you… you got us on one of our ‘good’ days… soak it up because it won’t last!”
I was recently sent the Texas Guy Beer Ad. It makes me miss Texas all the more…
I once again struck it lucky with Thrifty… I’ve been bumped into a nice Dodge Charger instead of my normal economy car. I love Thrifty. They do this so often to me, and I love it. I think I’m getting this car for about $20/day instead of the normal $60. Plus, it only had 799 miles on it! The thing accelerates like crazy, has a great sound system, drives real smooth, and looks sleek as all get out. Only thing I don’t like about it is the rear-view mirror… just not big enough.
