Happy Independence Day!

I salute our troops, including the fallen, the living veterans, those serving active duty, those serving reserve duty, the families who support their loved ones, and anyone who upholds the truly honored ones in our society who fight for our freedoms.

So I share with you some impromptu haikus.

Independence Day.
I rejoice in our freedom.
Happy July 4th!

To all those who fight,
Preserving abilities,
I thank you so much.

Firecrackers galore!
Black Cat bombs bursting in air!
(someone douse the kid)

(no really, look out!)
(take that punk away from him)
(he’s too young for that.)

Here’s some nice sparklers,
Jaden, for you to play with.
Yeah.  I know.  They’re lame.

I think with the rain;
won’t be too much danger of
fire-related deaths.
