My Brother’s Boat
My brother has done some massive updates on his boat. You can click the link and see his photo album for some cool times out on the lake on what is essentially a complete rebuild of a boat.

We had a great weekend with the boat! After I fixed a lot of stuff from the previous 10-minute maiden voyage, the Chris Craft performed flawlessly at Decker Lake on Saturday and Town Lake on Sunday. We even towed two disabled boats back to shore! I have a great video of the boat with the 283 Corvette engine singing…let me know if you want me to send you a link to it.

Okay… Thank GOD you didn’t put any of those stupid cats out today. This is the first time in awhile that I have laughed… Funny stuff, and from you of all people. I am impressed. Two more points on the cool scale. You have about 10 points to make up for that you lost with the cat crap, but I am sure you will make it up in time to get back to “dork” status.

cheldear, love the name. And also question for you – what was so much funnier? I can’t believe some people – you _and_ Ren both are good friends of mine who don’t “get” the LOLcats. I just don’t understand that. LOLcats are almost as funny as classic George Carlin or Steve Martin – you just. don’t. get. any. funnier.

cheldear, still loving the name change. But, with regard to the cat stuff, I have to submit the following for your viewing pleasure.
It’s cheezy, but frankly, I just don’t find it funny. The pictures of the cats are cute, but the tag lines aren’t funny. And the way the cats “talk” doesn’t do it for me. Of course, I could do my usual point by point tear-apart of it, but I won’t burst your love for LOL Cats by doing that. It would be so easy today too, because I have been working on the SAME F’ING REPORT FOR OVER A WEEK NOW, and I had to buy a new laptop, and I can’t blow away VISTA UNTIL THIS WEEKEND, AND VISTA SUCKS, SUCKS SUCKS, and I can’t get a vmware image with oracle on it (I have installed Oracle 22 times in the last five days) to stay stable, and I am tired, I want to go home, I didn’t get to go home last weekend, I am tired, I am having nightmares (actually woke up sitting up in bed screaming out loud for the first time in my life), I am really stressed out, I am not sleeping, and I need some. I HATE reporting gigs. I wish that they would all just DIE. Well, iterative reporting, that is. I means, IS IT SO HARD TO WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU WANT????? Why do clients refuse to write down what they want and sign on the dotted line? I mean, they blatantly say, no, I won’t sign reporting requirements… I may want something different when I see it. Seriously. Seriously. That’s what they say. Um, how can I, as a consultant, build a F’ING THING for you if you don’t TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT????

and thank you for not tearing apart my love for LOLcats point by point. I’m sorry to hear about your gig. And do your customers pay for the final report, or do they pay by hour? Tell me you’re paid by the hour at least.
Haven’t used Vista much at all – we’re starting to deploy it at work in limited fashion but it’s mostly still a mystery in corporate environment.
Oh, and “seriously” is spelled SRSLY in LOLcat world.
Michelle, (not cheldear), I just watched the woodspiders video – awesome! I started watching it like, hey, there’s no sound. Then I realized I had the sound turned off. Then I watched it again and thought “I think I’ve seen this before” and then I was all “oh ok, I’ve NEVER seen this before!” thanks for the laugh.
