I love the cats!
Thomas? He comes to the neighboring town where they have a "scenic railroad"... personally, I find him a bit creepy, but the kids like him.

Update: we got here at 7:50am (they opened at 7:30 and I knew this) and they're already sold out of everything up to 12:40. Argh! I even was going to get here around 7:15 or so because I'm so Waynal about getting places early but I thought 'noooooooo, I'll learn how to take things a little more relaxed and it'll be fine'. Some good *that* did me, huh? I think it just goes to show it's ok to be Waynal sometimes. Jaden wouldn't have known the difference since we were up this early anyway.

Oh, and another misconception I had about life manifested itself this morning. I was under the mistaken impression that it was impossible to mess up a breakfast taco. I mean, it's just a tortilla, some eggs, and maybe cheese, sausage, potato and/or bacon.... But the consession stand not only overcharged me but underdelivered. I learned a valuable lesson today.
