Absurdist, I wish I could take credit for the Great Throwing Up Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. But I've had that pic in my stash for a looooong time now.

NYCWD, sure, no need, but it's fun! Plus, "fat pumpkin" would be an awesome band name.

I also see no need to use the term "fat" as a description for the pumpkin.

By the looks of it, the school has driven it to become bulemic. That's just damn wrong.

Love the pic. One of the things I like about not having kids is the fact that I am not teaching someone from scratch. But you are a kid lover (in the good way), and you like to do that. I admire people who have the patience to take a kid from scratch and teach them all the stuff you already know. How exhausting!

Lynda, I do enjoy working with the kids. I have a blast. I frequently get comments from teachers, other parents, etc about how "oh, you're so good with the kids!" or "I wish I had that kind of optimism and patience" and I'm sitting there thinking... "I don't feel like I'm using a lot of patience..." I find it easy to have fun with the kids. Especially with nauseous pumpkinheads.

I totally want to carve a pumpkin like that now. LOL!

If I am ever a pumpkin, I hope I am only 21 fat, or something like that. Sounds like you were being a good teacher, even if your child was more in the mood for a burger than guessing how many fit in a pumpkin. ;)
