Alamo Drafthouse. Mister Sinus Theatre. Katz' Deli. Town Lake (aka Lady Bird lake or some other crap like that), the warehouse district, Gingerman (even though we have one here), Chuys (even though we have a Chuys here, but it's not the same), mom and pop restaurants. I live in the mecca of the chain. I also live in shopping central. We have some nice parks and crap, but I so miss some of the originality of Austin. Magnolia Cafe, other stuff. Sometimes I wish I would move back to Austin. I used to think the traffic was worse than Dallas. Dallas moves; don't get me wrong. But when I was in Austin last at Dell, the traffic just didn't seem all that bad with the new toll roads. Maybe I will consider moving back to Austin. I do miss my friends, even though I am finally setting down roots here in the Dallas area. There are so many things I miss about Austin.
