Every year, America gets about 1 million new legal immigrants (600k of whom are already here and just change their status), but get anywhere between 700k to 1.5 million illegal immigrants. I *want* more immigrants. I *want* them to come in and take jobs. I *want* them to not have to watch over their shoulders. And yes, I want them to pay taxes. I want the money they make to stay here in our economy and not go back to Mexico. This is the one point where I'm conservative. I'm honestly not racist. I have no problem if you want to better yourself, and immigrating is the only way for you to improve your situation. However, there's a legal way to do things, and those who break the law are criminals, regardless of what law they're breaking. I just wish people would go through the proper channels to get things done, instead of continuously breaking the law.
