Welcome to The blog of whall

Come on in and stay a while… laugh a little. Maybe even think. Read more...

Hi, This is Wayne. This is my site, my stuff, my blog, blahblahblah. The site itself is powered by WordPress and the Scary Little theme. I thought it was cool, and I still do.

You might think I’m crazy, but even crazy people are right some of the time.  A broken analog clock is right twice a day.  A blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut.  The nation elected Carter  in 1976, for Pete’s sake.  But neither Obama nor Clinton can handily beat McCain by themselves.  So they’re going to have to pair up.

Or maybe they’ll have an “Oprah moment” and go with “O!” but make it “OH 2008!” as their campaign.

I must say, that has a nice ring to it.  If they end up using this idea, I want some royalties.  I don’t need money, but if they just exempt me from all the new taxation they’d bring, I’ll be happy.  With a Democrat-controlled Congress, there’s no limit to all the things they can “get done”!

Wait, I got it!  HillObama 2008!

Anything with “bama” in it HAS to be good…

And thanx to NYCWD for this photo, which clinches it:

And lo, the people did comment thus:

If Hillary is involved, McCain wins. Mark it down.

I am ignoring your first image above. You know why.

I do believe ajooja is correct. Mr. Obama, please choose your VP wisely.

Ajooja, well Hillary hinted at the Clinton Obama ticket already… I think that was on TV this morning.

Poppy, well of course - that’s why I put a big red X on it! *fake shrugs*

I just wish she’d sit down and shut up so that the Democratic party could beat McCain. If she cared about us little liberals, she’d do it ;).

I wish Hillary would do the numbers and realize it’s Obama’s ticket this time. The only way she can take the nomination is to sling so much mud that the Dem’s super-delegates will side against the will of the voters. This would virtually kill any chance of her winning the presidency, because Obama would be obligated to fire back, thus weakening both candidates beyond repair. Hillary is the new Nader.

I just realized I should shorten the OH 2008 slogan to just OH-8! You know, “Vote in OH-8″. I bet they use my idea if they get together….

Hilly, althogh perhaps not for the same end result, I’m glad we see eye to eye on her shutting up :)

Dave2, he still has more delegates but the media conveniently leaves that out.

Poppama, you amuse me? What, like a clown?

Hillary needs Obama on the ticket to win. Obama doesn’t need Hillary. In fact, he’d be better off staying as far away from her as possible.

With all due respect…. Hillary needs to just remove herself from the equasion now and save the party a lot of grief. I hope she understands that she won these states using Rovian, Republican tactics. Not to mention hypocritical. Yesterday on my blog, I posted a lovely photo of her and Tony Rezko hamming it up and then since no one else in the news seems to want to give Obama any air time to contradict her… I went ahead and posted the numbers and what really happened in this situation.

As for the NAFTA/Canada thing… all parties to include the Canadian embassy have stated this is ridiculous and false.

I find it quite curious how devoted the working class is to Hillary considering that she sat on the board of Wal Mart for years and years. Wal Mart is a corporation that has ruined family run businesses in this country. Not to mention the fact that they are constantly under attack because they offer extremely poor wages and godawful healthcare to their employees. She cites this as the reason she left the board but still… what about the fact that she backed a company that ruined our home economics? Or the fact that she backed a company that imports 65% of it’s merchandise from China??? NAFTA??? She now wants to argue NAFTA????

Please.

Hillary has had a loooong history of screw ups with fraud and real estate. She is a hipocrite and a liar. She is untrustworthy and I truly hope the American people don’t fall for this “experience” she is touting. Experience running dirty politics, sure! I think Karl Rove said it best on Tuesday:

“I couldn’t have done it better myself”.

That’s sick. She needs to disappear before she hands this election to McCain. She will NEVER get the Independent vote over McCain. She will lose if it is left to her. If she gets the nom and wants to bring in Obama as VP… I still don’t think people will vote for her. How she is willing to smear him to the entire world and publicly claim McCain is more suitable than Obama and then entertain the possibility of running with him… more games! She wants everyone to believe that a vote for her is a vote for Obama and that as her running mate he would be guaranteed the nom after her terms. It’s manipulative.

If the DNC caves and gives her Michigan after she broke the rules and placed her name on the ballot, I will not vote again. If they give her Florida without a fair opportunity for both candidates to be able to campaign on more than name recognition, I will not vote. I’ll take my chances when McCain wins and then vote for Obama again in 2012. But Hillary? NOT what I am looking for in a leader.

She’s a piece of work, that one.

I’m with you on this one. And wouldn’t it be cool to have a woman AND black man in teh white house at the same time? Seriously. I would vote this way. But you, of course, will end up voting republican.
