Recently on 1sourpuss, she blogged about coffee cups that were embracing the vernacular of the times:

I had entered a comment that said “let me know when it says nom” and I was basically referencing LOLcats.  In my head I was thinking… “how long until the LOLcat phenomenon hits our every day consumables?”  More appropriately, “when I can bother people ALL THE TIME with my LOLCAT ADDICTION!?!??!”

Well I didn’t have to wait long:

Now I can buy drinks with LOLcat pictures on them and give them away to friends!  And enemies! 

So it turns out that ICHC teamed up with Jones Soda (the people who brought you Turkey and Gravy soda) to make bottles emblazoned with the LOLcat images.  And wouldn’t you know it, they’re having a contest to determine the winner.  Contest runs from 3/24 to 4/25.

And this time around, there’s even a voting page just for the contest (keen folks are aware that the last contest lacked such a voting place, and therefore it was very difficult for them to actually determine the “best” pokercat vs who had the most friends.)  (even keener folks will recognize that yours truly is a little upset about this fact).

This is something I’m DEFINITELY going to enter… I just have to come up with some good ones.  And this time, it doesn’t seem that there will be any penalties for making multiples as there is a voting page.
