Oh, and I put my GH stats in badge form over there on the right, courtesy of the schier.eu site. To be nice, I wrote a cronjob to download it every few hours instead of actually linking to a live sig. I want to be nice to his server.

martymankins, We’re actually thinking about buying an xBox JUST so we can get the downloadable content (DLC). I hear a Def Leppard pack is being released this week. I also have read online about some instructions for doing custom songs on the Wii and if it’s easier than the PS2 instructions, I’m going to do it and make entire albums for Rush, Steely Dan, Duran Duran (for the wife), Yngwie Malmsteen, etc. Ooooh, and Animusic (post coming soon on that).

Oooh! and now that I found what was going on with the uploading stats thing, I’m actually increasing in ranking. I went from 29,000th place to 23,000th place and I still have many songs that aren’t even uploaded. I plan on being in the top 5,000 soon… then I’ll put my sights on top 1,000.

Actually, seeing how much you play Guitar Hero, it does make me want to play more than I do now. Mine (the PS3 version) gathers dust most of the week, but I find 20-30 mins to sit down on the weekends and try to get past Easy mode.

But, I admit to having more fun watching others play… that are much better than I am.

As a final note, I am curious how the Guitar Hero on Tour for the DS will work. The promo video doesn’t really do it much justice.

You need to put down the fake guitar, step away from the television, and find something less addictive to do with your life. Like freebasing cocaine, perhaps.
