So my husband had to basically hot wire the glove box so that we could pop the trunk. He happened to live in the next town over from me, about a 20 minute drive. Anyway, got up in the morning and there had been a pretty big snowstorm overnight, so I started the car and set to cleaning it all off and scraping all the windows. Once I finished all that I started to get into the car...and realized I had locked it when I got out to clean it off. Hubs had to drive me all the way back to my apartment to get my spare key, then back to his place so I could unlock my car -which was still running. Meh. Sometimes smart people do silly things. And those keyfobs are ridiculously expensive. She did it a few times and we had to have some of the officers we worked with come unlock her car. How it was never stolen, I do not know.
