Yesterday I posted about a movie I saw that I could not believe I had missed or not heard of.
Today I’m posting about a video concept I could not believe I didn’t come up with myself.
I mean, this is RIGHT up my alley. I saw the link on facebook (thanx Melody!).
Evidently there are a lot of them now, but I’ve only see this one and the one for Take On Me by A-ha from the originator of the series.
Update: ok, I watched a few others and they sucked. I’m glad I started with the ones I did.

Okay, minus the weird talking part in the middle and the pee joke, this was the BEST one of these I have seen! I just RT’d it.
BlondeBlogger´s last blog post..I Always Feel Like Somebody’s Watching Me
Blondeblogger – I agree. and I don’t think it’s just because I saw this one first, although it is still possible.
The AHA one is the best, but this one ranks up there. It’s also one of my favorite songs.
Avitable´s last blog post..The shallow movie critic
Avit – the A-Ha one is very good, but I disagree that it tops this one. At least for comedic value.
I think the best is “Head over Heels”.
LeSombre´s last blog post..Woop(ra)s!
LeSombre – if I could vote for “best part of a literal video”, that one would have it… right when he says “Now I’ll walk away and head over here… I’ll check the files out, when I get over here.” that was perfect.
Brilliant!
sourpuss – which reminds me, I want a Guinness.
Yep – those things – some of them – are freaking hilarious!
Sybil Law´s last blog post..Headache
Sybil – I wanna make one!
Yeah a couple were funny but most were just dumb.
Robin´s last blog post..Full Body Suit
Robin – I agree. Too bad there isn’t a website with them ranked or something.
The only other ones that I found pretty funny were Journey- Separate Ways one and James Blunt’s- You’re Beautiful. The rest are not so good… Thanks for posting this one, though- it’s by far the funniest
Melody – the Journey one is really good, and you gotta give a pass on anyone being close to a good enough singer. “falsetto” heh.
Another fan of the literal videos.
martymankins´s last blog post..Blogfully Challenged
martymankins – had you heard of them before?
I had, actually through Curt Smith, of Tears for Fears fame. He linked to a literal version of “Head Over Heels” which I loved. Then I found the other ones from your blog and others that have recently blogged about them.
