I learned it was Bruuuuuce! some years ago. (big ELO fan here) As for the petition, couldn't they just replace the cross with a stone memorial? Here’s the freaky thing…
I’ve heard this song lots of times over the years and I never even noticed the “Bruce/Grüß” thing until now.
Huh.
I wonder what other things in life I’ve missed.
