The thing that drives me nuts is seeing the same thing on twitter & facebook...I'm trying to figure out if I want to drop someone from one or the other. Yep, I'm guilty of it, but it's only occasionally, and done manually. *sigh* Still guilty though.
P.S. I still love fuddruckers!

Um, @s don't go to Facebook. At least, they don't for me. Anything starting with @ is automatically filtered out.

For as often as I tweet, this is why I just manually update my Facebook status here and there. Gives it a bit more personable feel to it without people asking "who's @whall and why is he a geek?"

If you find out about the Nobel money, let me know. Because if it's not taxed, I'm totally going for it next year.

I've just about given up on twitter. I don't like that comments aren't threaded. I understand the brevity and making lots of updates and all, but I like the length of Facebook updates.

I think the answer might be to NOT cross-post but rather to find a way to make your twitter and facebook updates suited to each medium. In the end, maybe we should all belong to fewer different social networking sites.

All that said, I've never minded the extra updates on my wall. I'd much rather see six twitter style updates from you than twenty game updates from somebody else... and nobody seems to complain about those.
