You should be able to use the Easy Transfer Wizard, though, to export your profile to an external drive or another computer, then install from scratch (maybe, depending on the version you bought), then import. The gist of it was slow transfer speed to/from the external drive. This is something I can definitely attribute to Microsoft / Dell for not having a good driver ready for firewire. Once I switched to a different type of cable (USB), the transfer sped up and the migration only took about 90 minutes for the huge profile (which is a good thing). sue – I ended up explaining the problem and solution in the next blog post (I think).
