Hi*
So I’ve had a project going on for a little bit now and I’m tracking my progress on a whiteboard in my home office. It’s a fun, cool project (would I work on anything else??!?!?!) and not only does it occupy my mind and thoughts, it also occupies my first blog entry in, oh, about since the Mayans started telling time on tablets.
I was wondering if there’s ANYONE who actually reads my blog / twitter stream / facebook feed that could recognize what I put on said whiteboard about said project.
So, my challenge to you is two-fold:
- What is the project I’m working on?
This first question is difficult enough on it’s own, but reachable for a decent amount of people. I think I left enough hints in there so that people who at least knew how to use Google can figure it out. - What is the next step in the project?
Now THIS is the hard question. Only a few people out there I know of can examine this picture and tell me a recommendation for the “next step” of the project. It is also potentially Google-able like question #1, so we’ll see who takes the challenge.
So, get your investigative hats on, pull out your microscopes and start arrogantly calling people Watson because you need to sleuth your way to the answer.
I may give a prize**.
Anyway, thanx for reading***!
* Some people said the end of the world might be when I blog again, so I didn’t want to fail to keep my end of the bargain.
** I’ve given prizes before, so it’s not as if this is outlandish or anything.
*** man I miss blogging and my blogging friends and the whole blogging community.

CAT6 / IPv6 upgrade?
Nope, but I like how you think.
I have no idea. I just wanted it to be that.
(I have another guess if I’m wrong and no one else guesses.)
What’s your other guess?
Sorry, I lost interest when I concluded that it was probably either SWTOR-related or maybe some sort of fancy soundboard configuration.
Ah, yes Ren, it is SWTOR-related. That’s worth half of question #1. I like the soundboard idea, too… maybe I should take up soundboarding? Seems safer than snowboarding.
I think it is a form of Soduko.
If it is not, then I hope it is something productive like finding a path to get Yes in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
That *would* be productive… actually, shame on me because I had to go look up if YES was or was not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You’d think that as the biggest YES fan ever, I’d know that, and upon learning that they are NOT, wonder what it will take to get them there.
I was pleased to find out a lot of my other favorites were there: Rush (of course, just last week), Steely Dan, Michael Jackson, Steely Dan, Led Zeppelin, Paul Simon, The Beatles, Neil Diamond, ABBA, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Pink Floyd. I’m noticing a distinct lack of Progressive Rock up until this year… so I won’t hold my breath.
I hereby declare that YES is in the Rock and Roll WHALL OF FAME.
