The “free” version of numly only allows for 3 ESN’s per month to be generated.  Ha!  So much for getting me to use it.  I really figured the whole thing would be free to end users.  Not so.

I wanted to make sure I could do the things I really cared about.  Plus I just added a plugin for numly which assigns copyright ID’s (barcodes I guess) to posts so you can register your digital content. 

Note that I have no special need for copyrighting but I thought it was a pretty cool idea, plus it showed off the extensibility of the wordpress suite.  So I signed up at www.numly.com and got me an ID.

Now I just need to decide on a theme, import my old entries (I wonder what will happen to the numly codes?  or categories?) and switch over.

I’m hoping there’s a gravatar plugin for wordpress for comments….
